
Jamie Lomas
Founder
English television actor ‘Jamie Lomas’, best known for his roles as ‘Warren Fox‘ in Hollyoaks and ‘Jake Stone‘ in EastEnders, is dedicated to working hard to help ‘First Take School of Acting’ students. With over 15 years’ experience and having had the opportunity to be in some of the UK’s leading TV shows, Jamie understands the difficulty actors face in building a career to enable you to live your dream, in an increasingly competitive industry.
Jamie wants to use the experience he has built over the years to help newcomers overcome some of the obstacles they will inevitably face. Jamie started out his acting career from nothing and is extremely passionate when teaching and helping other actors grow in the industry, whether you are just starting your acting career or have been in the industry for many years.

Simone Clark
Director
Having worked in the industry not only in front of the camera but also behind it for over 10 years, Simone knows all too well the different hurdles which make it difficult for actors to get through the casting door.
Simone has worked on TV shows such as Emmerdale for ITV and From There To Here for BBC.
Through both Simone’s and Jamie’s combined experience, they are able to help professionally trained actors find a gateway into Television, Film, Commercials, and Theatre across the globe.
Alongside acting, Simone graduated with a BA(Hons) in Business Management & Marketing, which gives her the perfect foundation, and a huge passion, for all areas of business and the running of both companies: First Take School of Acting and JLA Talent Group.

Anthony Crank
Head Acting Coach
Trained at the legendary Oldham Theatre Workshop, Mid Cheshire Campus and the prestigious Manchester School Of Acting, Anthony kicked off an exciting career in the late 90’s/early 00’s in print journalism writing for such titles as Mizz, Sky, more!, Attitude, AXM and OK! magazine. Anthony started his TV on the popular Channel 4 ‘youth’ strand, T4, landing a role first as it’s Entertainment Correspondent before joining the core team broadcasting live to the weekend’s millions of morning viewers.
Alongside sister brands E4, T4 Holiday Mornings, T4 On The Beach, T4/C4 Movie specials and C4, Anthony went onto further presenting roles across all major terrestrial broadcasters. From ‘MTV Backstage : Live’ to hosting all the European TV outlets for ‘THE MTV: European Music Award’s 2006’ alongside his then regular co-host Emma Willis, ‘Make Me a Supermodel’ and ‘The MTV VMA’s 2007’ for FIVE, Extreme Makeover, SKY’s Eat Cinema, ITV’s Review of The Year 2006, 46664: The Mandela Tribute live from Cape Town, The Isle Of Wight Festival ’05, Totally Scott Lee, Bingo Night Live!, Liquid News to landing his dream presenting role working for BBC1 on the long running primetime travel show, ‘HOLIDAY’, inclusive of BBC1 spin-offs “Departure Lounge’ and ‘Holiday Hit Squad’.
After enjoying 11 years living and working in London, Anthony embarked on a fresh challenge and moved back to his native Manchester to study at the highly respected Manchester School Of Acting under the tutelage of Mark Hudson, upon which after graduating enjoyed roles in popular TV shows and movies such as the lead in feature film ‘Poor Wee Me’, Coronation Street, Jimmy McGovern’s The Accused, Hollyoaks: The Morning After The Night Before, and as Billy in Shameless, Kay Mellor’s ‘The Syndicate‘, and has appeared on stage in the award-winning two-hander ‘The Rainbow Connection’, ‘The Opposite Of Claustrophobia’, ‘Fetish Knights’, ‘Rid The World’ and ‘The Newspaper Boy’ opposite BAFTA Award winner Suranne Jones.
Deciding to turn his hand to teaching, mentoring and coaching talent, Anthony spent 5 years as an Acting Tutor and Creative skills Practitioner at the aforementioned Manchester School Of Acting, guiding and mentoring the careers of over 400 actors. He also worked in-house at MSA in casting, production and as a pastoral/career industry advisor. Anthony also taught at Belfast based youth acting and media Cinematic festival, bringing together young people from both sides of the cross-denominational community using drama, as a Youth Mentor and Engagement Officer in schools all over the North West. He has tutored at ActUpNorth, 13PA and AC Acting For Camera Class.

Charlotte Anthon
Kids Acting Coach
As well as being an actress herself and having over a decades worth of experience in theatre. Charlotte studied at Edge Hill University where she recently graduated with a BA Hons in Drama
She is represented by JLA Talent Group and attends the Adult classes at First Take School of Acting to constantly keep on top of her actor training.
She is trained in Acting for Camera, Audition Technique as well as many more skills that help the students improve their performance.
Charlotte has taught at FTSA Kids since the launch in November where she has helped the children to build confidence and developed their acting skills
Her past teaching experience includes teaching in various primary schools in Gambia as part of The Gambian Schools Project in 2013

Emily Daniels
Kids Acting Coach /Teaching Assistant
Emily is a drama graduate and a primary school teacher.
She studied at Edge Hill University where she graduated with a BA Hons in Drama following that she studied at The University of Manchester where she completed her PGSE and is a qualified primary school teacher.
She has been Iinvolved in acting for as long as she can remember and she can’t wait to continue to work with the children and see them blossom into confident young adults and marvellous actors!

Jade Shaw
Teaching Assistant
Jade studied at SLP College where she graduated in a three year diploma in Musical Theatre. Since graduating she has maintained her career as a professional actress and has vast experience in Film and Theatre and has some great opportunities in working behind the scenes and in front of camera from choreographing pantomimes to being lead in feature films.
Jade is currently training with First Take School of Acting and has only recently joined FTSA Kids but is excited to utilise all of her acting training that she has learn’t over the years and pass it onto the next generation of talent and wants to enable the kids to build their confidence whilst being the best they can be and build on their acting skills
